Kuala Lumpur, with a metropolitan population of over 7 million, is Malaysia’s greatest city. The city is a center for finance, insurance, real estate, media and the arts of Malaysia.  Kuala Lumpur is poised to become the global Islamic Financing hub with an increasing presence of the Gulf’s financial institutions such as the world’s largest Islamic bank, Al-Rajhi Bank and Kuwait Finance House.  Overall, Kuala Lumpur was ranked as the 40th greatest city in the world!

Marvelous modern buildings reach the sky here, and while the skyline is not dense, this lack of density allows buildings to soar and “scrape the sky”. Kuala Lumpur has 10 structures standing over 200 m tall and is home to the tallest twin buildings in the world, the 452 m Petronas Towers as well as the peaking 420 m Menara Kuala Lumpur Tower. Along with Singapore and Bangkok, this city is part of the Southeast Asian economic triumvirate.
