2 International Finance Centre

2 International Finance Centre

The International Finance Centre (abbr. IFC) is an integrated commercial development on the waterfront of Hong Kong’s Central District. A prominent landmark on Hong Kong Island, it consists of two skyscrapers, the ifc mall, and the 55-storey Four Seasons Hotel Hong Kong. [One International Finance Centre was completed in 1998 at 210 m. The ifc mall is located directly above the Hong Kong MTR Station and provides an indoor connection for the two office buildings (One IFC and Two IFC) and the Four Seasons Hotel. The Four Seasons Hotel is a five-star luxury hotel that was completed and opened in October in 2005.)] The most impressive part of this development is the 2003 completed, 88 floor, 415 m (very similar in height of the former World Trade Centers in New York City), Hong Kong’s tallest 2 International Finance Centre. You should be able to spot it in the Hong Kong Night Skyline picture that is in the “About” section.

This is my favorite skyscraper in Hong Kong and my favorite “modern” skyscraper in the world!
