Shanghai World Financial Center

The Shanghai World Financial Center is a mixed-use, 2008 completed, 1.2 billion US dollar, 101 floor, 492 m skyscraper in Shanghai, China. It became the second tallest building in the world at its completion; as well as the tallest structure in China, including Hong Kong. It is currently the world’s tallest completed skyscraper by roof, by highest occupied floor, and contains the world’s highest public observation deck at 474 m (even the all record-crushing under construction Burj Dubai will not take this last record from this skyscraper.) Shanghai World Financial Center was named on November 21, 2008, by architects as the best skyscraper completed in 2008.
